If you’re an avocado lover you’ll love guacamole but you may already be well aware of that. It tends to be a favourite.

Plus they’re hormone-, waistline and skin-friendly because they’re full of healthy fat. So what’s not love?

This guac recipe is super easy and super delicious and serves as a reminder to make it next time you bring out the (seed) crackers!

 

Classic Guacamole

Serves 2

Preparation: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime (or lemon), juiced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 red chilli, de-seeded and diced
  • 1/4 C (7g) coriander, chopped
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • Salt & pepper

 

 

Method:

  1. De-stone the avocados and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash with a fork, leaving some of the avocado chunky to add texture.
  3. Add in the lime juice, onion, chilli, coriander and sesame seeds.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
  5. Serve with optional garnish of additional chilli, cilantro and sesame seeds.
